About the Role: As the Sheet Society Content Specialist you will be responsible creating engaging, disruptive and on-brand content for our social media channels that captivates our audience, reflects the Sheet Society brand identity, and drives meaningful brand interactions as well as for organising and scheduling a calendar of organic social media activity across Meta, TikTok and Pinterest. Working back with the Creative, Brand and Digital teams, your primary focus will be to ideate, produce and manage the end-to-end rollout of lo-fi content tailored specifically for our social media channels across Sheet Society and Resting — particularly TikTok and Instagram — from concept through to scheduling and performance optimisation. It’s an exciting role, with lots of creative scope, perfect for someone who is really looking to make the role their own. About the Team: Part of the Creative & Content Team within our broader Marketing Department, the Content Specialist reports to our Head of Creative and will work closely with our Brand, Digital and Creative teams, as well as Customer Service and our other content creators. Key Responsibilities: Content Creation Respond to marketing briefs as part of overarching campaign planning, and present reactive content ideas aligned with platform trends. Create social-first, short form lo-fi video end-to-end; from conception and storyboarding through to editing final assets and delivery of content to relevant channel leads ready for publishing. Attend photoshoots and head instore to capture and produce relevant and engaging content that aligns with brand messaging and marketing goals. Direct talent, including team members participating, when capturing lo-fi content, and participating in content when required too. Support the rest of the Sheet Society Marketing team with staying across social media trends on Instagram, Meta, TikTok and other emerging platforms and present ways to access these trends. Maintain a consistent and timely handover of lo-fi content to relevant channel owners, undergoing approvals and actioning feedback as part of the regular creative review process. Calendar Management With strategic guidance from the Head of Brand Marketing, create and maintain the organic social calendar for Sheet Society and Resting ensuring all planned content is on-brand, relevant to the channel and in support of our content pillars - is scheduled accurately and on time. Provide learnings, feedback and opportunities throughout the marketing, creative and ecommerce teams. Leadership Champion Social Channels across the business, sharing wins and learnings, and educating the broader business about channel requirements, changes or insights. Create a safe and open environment that fosters creativity - allowing for fearless innovation and ideation. Take a proactive and solution-focused approach to projects and tasks. Build strong cross-functional relationships, both internally and with external agencies, to collaborate and influence key stakeholders. Support and maintain all social initiatives in our workplace management system ASANA ensuring all tasks are met by the due date. About You: 2 years experience creating compelling lo-fi social content that drives engagement and follower growth (commercially for a brand and/ or within an agency). You have a working knowledge of all social media channels, and understand what content is appropriate for what channel and what results to benchmark. Experience proactively owning content scheduling and timelines for multiple social channels, with the ability to respond at pace when needed. You’ve got a keen eye for detail in a fast moving world. You have a strong creative eye and are passionate about creating unique and thumb-stopping content. You understand the role of brand, and know how to take a market-trend and make it Sheet Society’s own, maintaining brand tone of voice through channel appropriate copywriting. You have your finger on the pulse when it comes to social media trends - such as TikTok sounds, creators, transitions and editing, or trending topics we should jump on (or leave behind). You are not afraid to take a test and learn approach to new ideas, balancing the bold with staying on brand. You’re enthusiastic and have a can-do attitude - you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and conquer any task. You’re as comfortable in front of the camera as you are behind, jumping in to talk to camera when required. Experience working with Figma. Experience with a work management system, such as ASANA.
