Business Development Consultant Part-Time | Field-Based | South of the River (WA) Kollab Recruitment Group is a growing recruitment agency entering its next phase of scale. We are seeking an experienced Business Development Consultant to drive new client acquisition across workforce-driven industries. This is a true hunter role. You will be responsible for opening doors, building trust with decision-makers, and converting opportunities into sustainable, profitable work. This role will commence on a part-time basis, with the opportunity to expand based on performance and results. This role is for you if You have successfully sold workforce or service-based solutions into operational environments You are comfortable being on the road, meeting clients face-to-face and building relationships in the field You value autonomy, accountability, and commercial outcomes This is not a desk-based, inbound sales, or junior development role. What you’ll be doing Identifying and developing new client relationships Engaging operational, site-based, and commercial decision-makers Actively building and managing a new business pipeline Converting opportunities into retained, profitable client relationships Maintaining accurate CRM and pipeline reporting Taking ownership of outcomes - not just activity Success in this role is measured by clients onboarded, quality of work converted, and sustainable commercial outcomes, not meetings booked for the sake of it. What we’re looking for We are seeking candidates with proven business development experience in at least one of the following sectors: Blue-collar / industrial / trades Aged care or health services Hospitality, events, or large-scale venue operations Experience across multiple sectors is highly regarded and will be viewed as a strong advantage. You will also bring: A demonstrated track record of winning and converting new business Confidence operating in field-based, face-to-face environments Strong commercial judgement and disciplined follow-up The ability to work autonomously with clear expectations and accountability Location & structure This is a field-based role with flexibility to work from home when not on the road Regular in-person meetings are required This role is best suited to someone south of the river (Mandurah, Rockingham, Kwinana, Cockburn or surrounding areas) Remuneration & incentives Market-aligned part-time base salary (from –$110k full-time equivalent ), with performance incentives aligned to retained net profit , not one-off wins, and a formal review pathway.
