Description The HR Advisor provides timely, practical and compliant HR advice and support to leaders and employees across the employee lifecycle. The role partners with stakeholders to deliver consistent people practices, support positive employee relations, and contribute to engagement, performance and culture outcomes. Responsibilities Provide day-to-day HR advice to leaders and employees across policies, procedures, and employment matters. Manage employee relations cases end-to-end (e.g., performance management, conduct, grievances, absenteeism, investigations) with appropriate documentation and risk management. Ensure matters are handled confidentially, fairly, and in line with legal/regulatory and internal policy requirements. Support onboarding coordination for new starters including uniforms, medicals etc. Advise on probation, performance planning, goal-setting, and development conversations. Support role changes, promotions, transfers, and offboarding processes, ensuring an excellent employee experience. Maintain accurate HR records and case notes in the HUB; ensure data integrity and document control. Interpret and apply industrial instruments (where relevant), company policies, and procedures. Support contract variations, letters, and employment documentation (e.g., warnings, outcomes, changes to terms). Contribute to audits and compliance activities, ensuring standard processes are followed. Contribute to HR initiatives such as policy updates, performance framework improvements, onboarding enhancements, or manager capability programs. Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to processes, training, and leader toolkits. Support reporting and insights Qualifications 2- 5 years demonstrated experience in a generalist HR role, with exposure to employee relations and performance matters. Working knowledge of HR policies and employment legislation/industrial relations principles relevant to your operating environment. Experience supporting leaders with HR coaching and case management. Strong written communication and stakeholder management. Proficiency in HR Systems (Oracle desirable) and Microsoft 365 (Excel/Teams/Outlook). Exposure to change management, consultation processes, or union/EA environments. Formal HR qualification (e.g., Bachelor in HR/Business/Psychology or equivalent) and/or relevant professional membership. What are the benefits of working for Harmony?
