Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $115,817 to $130,667 super Our Heritage Policy and Strategy team is currently seeking to appoint a Project Officer Policy Delivery & Implementation to help drive the successful delivery of key initiatives that support program and portfolio outcomes across Heritage NSW. The role is well‑suited for internal staff looking to broaden their project, policy and data‑driven delivery experience in a supportive and highly collaborative environment. In this role, you’ll contribute to the design, coordination and delivery of project and program activities aligned to government priorities. A strong focus of the position is collecting, analysing and interpreting data to generate clear, meaningful insights that inform policy and implementation decisions. You will support the development of project documentation, undertake research and analytical work, assist with preparing briefings and advice, and help ensure governance and reporting requirements are met. You will also work closely with colleagues, stakeholders and delivery teams across the branch to keep work moving, maintain accurate records, and support effective implementation. About You You are a motivated, organised team player who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys contributing to purposeful project and program delivery. Key Knowledge and experience Project management skills demonstrating the ability to deliver agreed outcomes on time, on budget and to quality standards, supported by strong organisational and time‑management capabilities. Experience working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume office environment, including supporting senior management in navigating high‑profile issues and projects. Experience using tools like Excel, Power BI or similar, with confidence analysing and presenting data. Proficiency in data collection, analysis and interpretation, and the ability to communicate insights clearly, precisely and in formats tailored to diverse audiences.
