Business Development Manager Away From Home Team Location: Adelaide Your Impact As our Business Development Manager within the Away From Home team, you will take ownership of a portfolio of customers across Adelaide, driving sales, distribution, profitability and market share growth. This is a commercially focused role where you will maximise performance within existing accounts while identifying and onboarding new business. You will execute nationally agreed commercial plans, respond to competitor activity, and ensure our brands continue to outperform the category. You will play a critical role in delivering agreed financial targets while building long-term strategic partnerships that create sustainable growth for both Asahi Beverages and your customers. Key Accountabilities • Deliver agreed sales, distribution, profitability and market share targets • Maximise commercial initiatives within customer accounts • Develop and implement category growth initiatives • Monitor competitor activity and respond to protect and grow share • Provide weekly input into state sales forecasts • Manage customer credit and ensure trading terms compliance • Cold canvas and onboard new business opportunities • Build long-term strategic relationships with key customers • Ensure best-in-class service and achievement of customer KPIs • Execute nationally agreed commercial plans effectively • Develop additional local initiatives to support national strategy About You • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales or account management within FMCG • Proven track record in key account management and field sales • Strong commercial acumen across sales volume, margin and market share • Strategic selling and negotiation capability • Confident presenter with strong planning and forecasting skills • Self-driven, resilient and results focused • Passionate about hospitality and building strong customer partnerships You are commercially sharp, proactive and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
