You will work in a structured, safety-focused environment and be part of a supportive, well-trained team. This role is based at our Zillmere joinery workshop, operating Monday to Friday and offering stable, consistent hours that support work life balance. Key Responsibilities Safely and accurately operate a variety of machines, tools, and equipment, including joinery and workshop machinery (e.g. saws, sanders, joinery machines) Maintaining cleanliness in machine shop and factory floor during and at the completion of each day in line with WHS requirements Monitor machine performance and take appropriate action to ensure optimal output and product quality Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental procedures to ensure a safe workplace Prepare, load, unload, and organise timber and joinery materials Ensure daily and weekly maintenance programs set by Factory Foreman are carried out as required. Measure, cut, shape, and prepare components for joinery manufacturing Support day-to-day workshop operations through general labouring duties Assist with custom and bespoke joinery tasks, handling materials with care and precision About You We are looking for someone who: Hast full working rights to work in Australia Candidate must currently reside in Australia Has experience working as a labourer in a workshop, manufacturing, joinery, or similar environment (preferred) Is comfortable using hand tools and Cabinetry machinery and can follow instructions accurately Has strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship and safety Can work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Has good communication and basic problem-solving skills Understands, or is willing to learn, precise measurement using the metric system Is physically fit, reliable, and capable of manual tasks Demonstrates a strong work ethic and a positive, safety-focused attitude Licences & Requirements White Card (Construction Induction) – required or willing to obtain Forklift Licence (LF) – desirable but not essential Basic machine or workshop safety training (e.g. saws, CNC, Edge bander, sanders, joinery machinery) – desirable What We Offer Permanent full-time employment within the Joinery Division Monday to Friday work schedule supporting work–life balance A professional, well-equipped workshop environment Comprehensive training and development opportunities Exposure to a wide variety of materials, including timber, MDF, and aluminium On-the-job learning and skill development opportunities A supportive team culture focused on quality, consistency, and craftsmanship We value diversity in our workforce and encourage applications from candidates with a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.
