The role We’re seeking a Regional Financial Systems Manager to provide clear ownership and leadership of financial and operational applications across APAC. Based in Stafford with hybrid flexibility, this role acts as the key point of accountability between Finance and IT, ensuring systems support accurate reporting, strong controls, and efficient period close in a highly regulated environment. The day to day In this role, you’ll: • Lead regional financial systems support teams, setting clear expectations for service quality and issue resolution • Oversee daily operations of ERP and financial applications, ensuring system stability and performance • Review and approve configuration changes, assessing impacts on accounting, controls, and reporting • Partner closely with Finance leaders to support period-end close activities across multiple entities • Ensure systems align with audit, regulatory, and internal control requirements • Translate business and finance needs into clear system and functional requirements • Identify recurring issues and drive improvements through process, training, or system changes • Lead or support regional system initiatives, upgrades, integrations, and deployments • Coordinate testing, validation, and user acceptance activities • Work with global teams to implement standards, templates, and best practices • Manage vendor and implementation partner relationships and performance • Communicate risks, progress, and outcomes clearly to Finance and IT leadership The essentials We’re looking for a practical, commercially minded systems leader who brings: • A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, Accounting, Business Systems, or a related field • 7 years’ experience working with financial systems in multi-entity or multi-site environments • Hands-on experience with a major ERP (e.g. Dynamics 365 Business Central, Oracle Cloud ERP, SAP Business One, Pronto Xi) • Strong understanding of accounting processes, financial controls, and operational workflows • Experience supporting or implementing GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Procurement, or Inventory modules • Proven experience leading teams or managing staff • Solid understanding of system configuration and its impact on financial outcomes • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Ability to work effectively across Finance, Operations, IT, and global stakeholders Working at ALS The ALS team is a diverse and dedicated community united by our passion to make a difference in the world.
