Step into a pivotal growth role with Shell Energy as our WA Account Manager. This is a unique opportunity to lead Shell Energy’s expansion within the WA C&I gas market, managing a portfolio of high-value corporate and industrial customers while driving new business acquisition. You’ll play a key role in shaping our presence in Western Australia, building strategic relationships, influencing commercial outcomes, and delivering mutually beneficial solutions in a dynamic and evolving energy market. Key Responsibilities: Drive acquisition and retention targets across a portfolio of high-value Commercial & Industrial customers in WA. Lead Shell Energy’s continued expansion into the WA C&I gas market, identifying and converting new business opportunities. Manage end-to-end sales cycles, including prospecting, solution development, pricing discussions, negotiation and contract execution. Develop high-quality, commercially sound RFP and tender submissions tailored to customer requirements. Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior customer representatives, brokers and key internal stakeholders. Negotiate retail energy agreements in line with risk management frameworks and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Trading, Operations, Legal and Finance to deliver seamless onboarding and ongoing account management. What You’ll Bring: Proven success in a B2B sales or account management role, ideally within the energy or utilities sector. Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to win new business, retain key accounts and drive bottom-line results. Solid understanding of electricity and gas markets, including pricing structures and contracting frameworks. Confidence in leading high-level negotiations and closing mutually beneficial deals. Experience managing complex RFP/bid processes and navigating structured products. Stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence senior customer representatives, brokers and internal teams. High attention to detail, strong analytical capability (including Excel proficiency) and the ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a willingness to travel interstate, a flexible approach to work hours and a current drivers licence.
