An opportunity is available for an experienced Executive Officer to support a Chief Executive Officer within a large, purpose-driven organisation delivering essential services and programs across some of the most remote Aboriginal communities in Western Australia. This is not a traditional Executive Officer role. You will operate as a trusted extension of the CEO, supporting executive governance, project delivery, and leadership rhythm. Regular travel to remote communities across WA is an essential requirement of the role and is undertaken via charter aircraft. The Role Working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team, you will support executive operations and contribute directly to projects and initiatives with real community impact. Key responsibilities include: Supporting the CEO to embed and maintain a consistent leadership and operating rhythm Managing the CEO's calendar to protect strategic and project priorities Preparing executive briefs, agendas, papers, reports, and correspondence Tracking actions, decisions, milestones, and deliverables across executive and project workstreams Supporting cross-departmental projects, including planning, scheduling, action registers, and reporting Coordinating executive forums, working groups, and steering committees Monitoring project progress and supporting budget and governance reporting Drafting communications in the CEO's voice for internal and external stakeholders Coordinating CEO travel and logistics for regular visits to remote WA communities Building strong relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders Travel to very remote communities across Western Australia (Monday to Friday, approximately one week per month) via charter aircraft is essential and provides the opportunity to see projects and executive decisions translate into tangible outcomes on the ground. About You You are an experienced Executive Officer, senior EA, or Project Officer with 3-5 years' experience supporting senior executives in complex environments. You bring high energy and pace to your work while remaining calm, composed, and effective under pressure. You are confident engaging with senior leaders, comfortable holding people to account respectfully, and motivated by work with genuine purpose. You will bring: A genuine interest in purpose-driven, cross-cultural work supporting Aboriginal communities 3-5 years' experience in an Executive Officer, EA, or senior project support role Proven experience supporting a CEO or senior leadership team Strong project coordination and executive governance capability Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and follow-through Strong written communication and executive drafting skills High proficiency in Microsoft 365 and reporting tools Ability to work autonomously and adapt in fast-paced environments Willingness and ability to travel regularly to remote WA communities via charter aircraft (essential) Why This Role This is a rare opportunity to work at the centre of executive decision-making while seeing the direct impact of your work in remote communities.
