You will work collaboratively with stakeholders across Queensland Health, non-government, private and intergovernmental agencies to help implement key initiatives and priorities under Better Care Together: a plan for Queensland's state-funded mental health alcohol and other drug services to 2027. Through strong governance, partnership and communication, you will contribute to improving outcomes for people experiencing mental illness and problematic alcohol and drug use. What you'll do Lead and support service and system improvement projects using Queensland Health project management methodologies to deliver high-quality, timely outcomes. Liaise, consult and build productive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, Hospital and Health Services, professional groups, consumers, families, carers and community organisations. Develop high-quality briefing materials, submissions, reports and correspondence to inform decision-making and support strategic priorities. Manage governance processes and support committees to ensure effective oversight and implementation of initiatives. About you While not mandatory, a relevant qualification will be well regarded. Experience in mental health, alcohol and other drugs, and project management within the health system will be highly advantageous. To succeed in this role, you will bring: Demonstrated experience managing projects, ideally within a health or social policy environment. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into planning, policy or strategy. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to confidently negotiate and influence a diverse range of stakeholders. Knowledge of, or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of, mental health, alcohol and other drugs priorities at state and national levels.
