As a Community Housing Officer, you’ll be at the heart of this mission, ensuring tenancies are sustained and lives are positively impacted. Your day will never look the same: one moment you’re conducting an entry inspection for a new tenant, the next you’re reviewing rent eligibility or responding to a call from someone in need. You’ll manage tenancy data with precision, because accurate information drives better outcomes and future funding. You’ll navigate complex tenancy situations with empathy and professionalism, always guided by clear frameworks and a commitment to fairness. Success in this role requires more than technical know-how. It calls for resilience, patience, and a genuine desire to help. You’ll need to be adaptable - ready to roll up your sleeves, answer phones, visit properties, and even pitch in when something needs tidying up. Initiative is key: when problems arise, you’ll think critically, propose solutions, and act confidently within policy and legislation. The environment is fast-paced and rewarding.
