Description The Role: This role will be at the forefront of managing traffic flow, ensuring safety, and maintaining an orderly environment for both vehicles and pedestrians within our school grounds. The key to success in this position is the ability to stay calm under pressure, which is essential in creating a safe and efficient environment for students, staff, and visitors. This is a part-time position required in the mornings and afternoons in line with the School's peak drop-off and pick-up times. The role is required Monday to Friday, for approximately 20 hours a week. The successful applicant will be engaged until mid-December. The Average Day: Directing traffic flow Monitoring parking areas General safety management The Person: To be successful in this position, you will have: Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable A commitment to working in and maintaining a safe environment A keen eye for detail with the ability to take direction and initiative, working with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work productively as part of a team Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sun, when required A valid Employee Working with Children Check is a requirement of employment for this position.
