The key duties of the position include The Role Your duties will include: Engagement with various stakeholders across Defence and the Government to progress program and capability support requirements in line with One Defence Capability System (ODCS) criteria. Lead reporting requirements for the Office of the Head of Navy Capability (OHNC) which includes drafting Navy Covering Briefs for the Capability Gate Review (CGR) and Investment Committee (IC) for the Office of the Chief of Navy (OCN). Channel the change management process to support requirements as part of the Integrated Investment Program (IIP) in line with capability submissions to government. Coordinate tasks and activities to support information management and knowledge transition within the Navy Capability Division (NCD). Have an understanding of seaworthiness requirements to progress criteria as part of the Navy Governance Framework. Work within the NCD to identify gaps and design opportunities to reduce the impact on the ability for the branch and division to achieve product, project and capability outcomes. Manage the outcomes of contracts that support both the program support and capability analyst lines of effort. Develop tools to enhance transparency and accountability across the branch and division on administrative and tactical requirements in line with capability development across Navy. About our Team The vision of the Maritime Domain Support Branch (MDSB) is "Enabling and supporting maritime domain capability delivery to the Integrated Joint Force". The purpose of the branch is to support the NCD to progress, enhance and standardize branch and divisional activities to inform the OHNC on the status of Navy Capability Development.
