The key duties of the position include The Role As an APS 6 Contract Management Officer, you be delivering complex contract management support, under broad direction, within an integrated workforce, as part of the Commercial Management Team supporting the Integrated Command, Control and Communications Systems Program Office (IC3 SPO) Commercial, Project and Product Managers. You will be applying and developing your knowledge of legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Defence's mission and policy requirements. You will be exercising initiative and judgement in interpreting policy and applying practices and procedures. You will provide detailed contract management technical, professional and policy advice and contribute to stakeholder needs. You will have considerable level of stakeholder engagement and will liaise with stakeholders in relation to complex or difficult issues. You will be involved in anticipating and responding to stakeholders' needs and expectations to achieve work unit and Defence outcomes. About our Team The IC3 SPO is responsible for the acquisition, integration and sustainment of command, control and communications systems for the Australian Defence Force across the country and in operational theatres overseas. These capabilities include computer applications that support planning and conduct of operations, including IT infrastructure and command and control systems for deployed military forces across the five Domains. IC3 SPO acquires and sustains command, control and communications systems that are mission critical to all three services of the Australian Defence Force.
