Our team of researchers lead key internationally competitive research from molecules to medicines, from patient to policy across a range of therapeutic areas. The Research Assistant plays a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality research by contributing to the development of research protocols and the execution of research activities. The role supports researchers through coordination of grant applications, data collection and analysis, research documentation and compliance processes. Working under general supervision, the Research Assistant collaborates closely with academic staff, clinical specialists and external stakeholders to ensure research projects are delivered efficiently, accurately and in line with university policies and standards. Your key responsibilities will be to: contribute to the design and development of research protocols and support the timely execution of research activities coordinate and submit grant applications, ensuring compliance with all funding and institutional requirements provide guidance on research regulations, policies and procedures to ensure projects align with relevant standards assist with data collection, management and analysis, ensuring data quality, accuracy and integrity collaborate with researchers, clinical specialists and affiliated partners to share research findings and progress manage research documentation and publication processes, from drafting through to submission and record keeping facilitate effective communication with a broad range of stakeholders, proactively addressing issues and supporting positive working relationships undertake other duties appropriate within the classification level as required. About you tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience experience working in a research-intensive environment, preferably within the higher education sector demonstrated experience coordinating or supporting grant application processes experience conducting scientific literature searches and supporting research administration activities demonstrated ability to manage, report and disseminate research data accurately strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
