About the Role: As Personal Assistant to a highly respected Principal, you’ll bring calm to a busy environment and help the office run efficiently. You’ll support the Principal, partners, and wider team so they can focus on delivering exceptional legal work. This role is ideal for someone highly organised, proactive, and confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment. Key Responsibilities: Diary & Meeting Management – Keep the Principal’s schedule on track, coordinate meetings, and manage conference room bookings Inbox & Workflow Management – Prioritise emails and flag key actions Court & Legal Support – Prepare Court documents, draft legal correspondence under instruction, index disclosure and Court documents, and liaise with Counsel chambers, Barristers, and Court Experts Client Liaison – Communicate directly with clients and manage enquiries professionally Administrative & Office Support – Filing (electronic and hardcopy), general office tasks, and assisting partners as required Billing & Data Entry – Assist with mid-month and end-of-month billings, data entry in CLEO (or LEAP), and support trust account processes Transcription & Documentation – Transcribe electronic dictations and ensure documents are accurate and filed correctly Conference & CLE Organisation – Arrange flights, accommodation, and logistics for legal conferences and continuing professional development events Telephone & Message Management – Answer and transfer calls, manage new client enquiries, and ensure messages are relayed promptly Problem-Solving & Proactive Support – Anticipate needs, streamline processes, and keep the Principal and office running efficiently What We’re Looking For: Positive, proactive, and highly organised individual with strong attention to detail Natural problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment Able to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team Legal or litigation experience is advantageous but not essential Strong communication skills and professionalism when liaising with clients, Barristers, and other stakeholders Someone who enjoys supporting high-performing professionals and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly What’s in It for You: Full-time, in-office role with 1 day WFH per week Flexible start and finish times Be part of a supportive, friendly team of 19 professionals Real opportunities for career growth and progression Attend annual legal conferences fully supported by the firm Work in a high-performing firm that’s growing rapidly and making a real impact in the legal sector How to Apply To apply for this role, please submit your resume through the APPLY button.
