The Company Our client is a growing Australian telecommunications & managed service provider with national reach, strong upstream carrier relationships and expanding direct sales capability. With over 70 staff and a significant wholesale function, the business delivers fibre, NBN, voice, mobility and managed IT solutions to SMB customers across Australia. The company is investing in growth and expanding its direct sales team. The Role As the New Business Development Manager , you will be responsible for identifying, building and converting sales opportunities across Managed IT solutions, NBN, fibre, data, voice and mobility services within the SMB market. You will engage business owners and IT managers, run your own qualification conversations and drive opportunities through to close. You will work to clearly defined monthly recurring revenue targets, manage your pipeline in Salesforce and take full ownership of your activity and results. Implementation and onboarding are handled by dedicated support teams, allowing you to focus on new business growth. This is a genuine hunter role centred on recurring revenue acquisition. Your Background You will likely bring: 2-4 years B2B sales experience SMB telecommunications or MSP background Experience selling fibre, NBN, data, voice or managed IT solutions Proven new business development capability Experience working to recurring revenue or MRR targets Confidence qualifying technical solutions independently Strong commercial drive and resilience You may currently be in: A 20-50 person MSP An SMB-focused telco sales team A challenger ICT services environment A high performer from outside ICT but who has a passion for technology and a stable work history along with a successful track record of new business acquisition. This is not an enterprise account management role.It is focused on SMB & Corporate new business acquisition.
