The Company My client is a Global Freight Forwarder with a standout brand and service across the world. As a leader in the Australasian logistics sector, they are an innovative service provider that embraces collaboration, learning, and development. Due to continuous growth & expansion they are looking to add an Import / Export Operations & Customer Service Coordinator to the team based near Acacia Ridge. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will work in a team with a strong focus on supporting key accounts, process & compliance excellence, and a team first approach. The Role Your main responsibilities will include: End-to-end processing of import and export bookings Booking transport with airlines, ocean carriers, and local service providers Managing airfreight, seafreight LCL and FCL shipments Coordinating shipment milestones from booking through to final delivery Working alongside colleagues in other departments to ensure we are going above and beyond for clients Ensuring that invoices and charges are correct and posted in a timely manner Liaise with overseas agents clearly and in a timely manner ensuring a great customer service experience for clients & overseas partners Working closely with customs team ensuring that shipments are cleared in advance of arrival into Australia Ensuring that documentation that is passed to customs team is completed fully and correctly Your Experience Minimum 1-2 years experience in freight forwarding Relationship-building skills and strong communication abilities Prior experience using CargoWise (CW1) is highly regarded Training will be provided but you'll need the ability to learn and pick things up quickly If you are interested please apply immediately.
