Description About the role As a Communications Analyst in the Communications IT team, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-quality, compliant customer communications. You will work closely with internal teams and external clients to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications for developers using EngageOne, and support testing and client sign-off processes. Full time permanent role Parramatta based Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities: Enhancing Customer Communication Quality and Compliance: Ensure all customer communications are accurate, consistent, and meet regulatory and brand standards by translating business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications. Bridging Business and Technology: Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that communication solutions developed using EngageOne align with business goals and customer expectations. Driving Efficiency and Collaboration: Streamline the end-to-end communication development process—from requirements gathering to testing and client sign-off—by fostering strong collaboration across internal teams and external clients. Supporting Digital Transformation: Contribute to the modernization and automation of customer communications Ensuring Delivery Excellence: Maintain a strong focus on delivering high-quality outputs on time, supporting testing phases, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction through clear documentation and proactive issue resolution. Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Lead the collection and analysis of business requirements for customer communications, ensuring clarity, completeness, and alignment with business objectives. Technical Specification Development: Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for developers working with EngageOne, ensuring accuracy and feasibility. Workflow Coordination: Manage the end-to-end communication development lifecycle, including stakeholder engagement, development handover, testing coordination, and client sign-off. Compliance & Standards Oversight: Ensure all communications meet internal standards and external regulatory requirements, maintaining documentation and audit trails as needed. Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external clients. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, reduce rework, and improve the overall quality and speed of communication delivery. Influencing Without Authority: Lead conversations and guide decision-making by building trust and credibility with both business and technical teams. Compliance Assurance: Ensure all customer communications meet internal governance standards and external regulatory requirements, including legal, privacy, and brand guidelines. Audit & Documentation: Maintain clear and accurate documentation of requirements, specifications, approvals, and testing outcomes to support audit readiness and traceability. Experience & Personal Attributes 5 plus years of experience in business analysis within a superannuation, financial services, or regulated industry. Experience in documenting logic flows, data mapping and layout requirements for communications Strong understanding of customer communications platforms, particularly EngageOne and superannuation platform ideally Aaspire Excellent documentation and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously. Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in superannuation communications.
