The Role Millennium is currently seeking a highly motivated Security Supervisor to manage one of our busy INDUSTRY sites in Canberra. The role requires an experienced individual with excellent knowledge in site security, building management systems and fire control systems, and the application of standard operating procedures. ROSTER Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday – 07:00-16:00 weekly Duties & Responsibilities include: You are proactive, professional, and confident leading teams in fast-paced environments. You take pride in presentation, customer service, and operational discipline, and you understand the balance between security enforcement and positive public engagement. Key Responsibilities • Supervise and support a 24/7 team of Security Officers across multiple shifts • Monitor CCTV systems and coordinate real-time responses to incidents and alarms • Prepare accurate incident reports, daily occurrence logs, and handover notes • Liaise with center management, tenants, emergency services, and stakeholders • Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), WHS, and legislative requirements • Assist with rostering, coverage planning, and overtime management • Provide on-the-job coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to officers • Lead emergency responses including evacuations, medical incidents, and critical events • Run monthly KPI meetings with center and Millennium management. Key Selection Criteria: Valid Security License is a must Basic First Aid and CPR certification is required Security supervisory or management experience preferred Previous experience in a retail environment (highly regarded) Reliable transportation (preferred). Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
