As the business continues to scale, they are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead operations across production, logistics, and customer service. About the Role Reporting to the Executive Chairman, the Production Manager will oversee all aspects of daily production operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and consistent manufacturing outcomes. You will lead diverse teams, drive operational improvements, uphold quality and compliance standards, and support the organisation’s strategic growth plans. This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, is proactive in problem-solving, and brings a strong understanding of food manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage production, logistics, and customer service teams to achieve high performance and operational excellence. Oversee daily manufacturing operations, production scheduling, workflow coordination, and labour planning. Ensure production targets are met with a focus on quality, yield, and minimising waste. Build a positive, safety-focused culture that promotes capability development and accountability. Manage recruitment, training, development, and performance of production staff. Maintain compliance with all food safety, HACCP, SQF, export, and regulatory requirements. Work closely with quality teams to support audits, documentation, traceability, and continuous improvement. Manage raw materials, inventory coordination, distribution, and logistics (including export). Lead improvement initiatives involving automation, Lean manufacturing, and process optimisation. Ensure equipment and facilities are maintained safely and efficiently in collaboration with engineering teams. Monitor costs, track labour and raw material budgets, and implement strategies for improved efficiency. About You You are an experienced leader with a strong background in food manufacturing or FMCG production. You bring a proactive, organised approach, strong people-management skills, and the ability to influence performance at all levels of the business. You will also demonstrate: Proven experience in a Production Manager or senior production role. Strong leadership capability and experience managing diverse frontline teams. Skills in production planning, workflow coordination, and operational troubleshooting. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation abilities. High levels of computer literacy and comfort working with modern technology. Experience with QA, HACCP, food safety systems, and regulatory compliance.
