As a Recovery Support Worker in our Hospital to Home program, you could be providing evidence-based and recovery-oriented support to people discharged from acute mental health wards and/or supported by community mental health services. You will assist clients to achieve their identified goals and aspirations, provide support with day-to-day tasks and activities and develop professional working relationships with stakeholders to achieve best possible outcomes for clients. Working as part of a wider team, you will have your own client caseload and will be provided with on-the-job supervision on an ongoing basis. You will have: Diploma in a human service-related field and/or demonstrated previous experience working with people with mental illness. Ability to work autonomously and professionally within RFQ's service philosophy and values. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time, own case load and KPI's including outcomes measures and safety planning. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with clients, colleagues, stakeholders, and service providers. A strong sense of professional boundaries and integrity. Willingness and ability to undertake vaccination of preventable diseases that complies with the Occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases. Why RFQ?
