With a booming, culturally rich and diverse community, and less than an hourâs drive from the CBD (still within the bounds of Myki and ride-sharing), Melbourneâs North is fast becoming the place to be.   Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Category Managers â FF&E to join the Procurement & Supply Chain division  Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourneâs rapidly growing outer north.  Services are provided through our six main campuses:  Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals Centres and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.  About the Role:  As Category Manager â FF&E, you will play a critical role in shaping the environments where care is delivered across Northern Health. This is a high-impact procurement role at the intersection of major capital delivery and day-to-day hospital operations, with a particular focus on the Emergency Department Redevelopmentone of the organisationâs most significant transformation projects.  You will lead the end-to-end procurement of furniture, fixtures and equipment that directly support patient care, clinical workflows and staff experience, ensuring spaces are fit-for-purpose, safe, and delivered on time and within budget. Working closely with senior sourcing leaders and the Capital Development team, you will influence specifications, sequencing, and commissioning to ensure procurement outcomes align with complex build schedules and operational readiness requirements. This role offers the opportunity to apply strategic sourcing expertise and market insight in a highly visible program, building strong supplier partnerships, managing risk, and delivering real value in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
