We are seeking an experienced and strategic Group Quality & Compliance Manager to lead and manage product quality, safety, and compliance across the Brandbank Group. Reporting to the Group Sourcing & Sustainability Manager, you will identify and mitigate compliance risks, establish quality and technical strategies, and drive continuous improvement across our brands. THE ROLE: Manage all aspects of product quality, compliance, and safety to ensure alignment with legal and brand requirements. Oversee adherence to regulatory and external body standards across brands and departments. Provide guidance on high-risk areas, including product safety, compliance, and packaging policies. Lead supplier quality issue resolution, audits, and claims management, including managing 3rd party auditors. Support the Group Sourcing & Sustainability strategy and implementation. Develop and implement quality, technical, and compliance strategies that protect brand and group assets. Coach and guide teams to achieve operational excellence and continuous improvement. Assess new ventures for potential quality and compliance risks and provide strategic advice. Complete annual reporting to regulatory bodies, including AICIS and APCO. On-site role 5-days per week, based in our St Kilda Road offices. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: A tertiary qualification or equivalent in product/process management, operations, or related field. In-depth knowledge of regional and international safety, compliance, and performance standards. Proven experience in textiles, accessories, and cosmetics compliance; kidswear compliance preferred. Experience with external body reporting, technical audits, and offshore supplier management. Strong understanding of buying office operations. Excellent negotiation, strategic planning, and business development skills. Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional communication and relationship management skills at all levels. Broad knowledge of ethics, sustainability, and retail best practices.
