We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Commissioning Engineer to join our Project Delivery team in Perth on a fixed term basis for 24 months. Reporting to the Commissioning Lead, you will play a key role to assist plan and manage the commissioning and handover of major gas infrastructure projects Key Responsibilities · Assisting the Commissioning Lead to develop the project specific Commissioning Plans in accordance with project requirements. · Leading high-level negotiations with approving authorities to agree the testing and commissioning requirements, aiming to minimise the quantity and duration of the commissioning tests and minimise the risk of failed testing resulting in project delays. · Coordinating the required sign off from Regulatory authority to ensure seamless transition from construction to commissioning. · Ensuring participation of key operational personnel in required risk and project workshops relating to commissioning. · Gaining agreement of the project commissioning spare parts list prior to procurement. · Planning and sourcing commissioning spares and commissioning tools required for tasks including maintenance, storage and replenishment of commissioning container. · Ensuring operational objectives, tests, reporting and commercial obligations are understood and then demonstrated during commissioning to the satisfaction of Operations.
