Our client is an Australian fresh produce and horticulture company. This facility, located in Casuarina is a fast paced fresh produce company and they require an experienced Maintenance Fitter for a permanent position. Requirements for the role: Trade qualified in mechanical or maintenance fitting Previous experience in a manufacturing environment Forklift ticket Current C Class drivers licence Willing to do "call outs" on occasions (penalty rates are paid) Experience with conveyor systems, bespoke machinery, packing and lifting equipment Familiarity with scheduled maintenance and breakdowns Able to work in a team Well organised, punctual and reliable Previous experience in a food production environment would be an advantage but not a necessity This role commences as casual and will transition to permanency after 3 months. Pay rates remain the same once permanent.
