Position Purpose: The Finance Analyst role is to support the Planning and Control process with accurate reporting and forecasting, analysis of business performance and cost control. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Gather data from our system daily to report on current and projected sales for each month. Submit/Support month revenue forecast into our system (PBCS), using and developing excel financial models that allow us to forecast by product and supplier mix, discounting levels, returns and other revenue. Submit monthly actuals and forecast for purchasing units, highlighting trends and variances v sales data. Report on actual capex v budget/forecast and submit a monthly capex forecast. Enter capex items into the fixed asset register. Analysis of call centre labour hours v marketing budget/forecast Inventory and Trade Receivables analysis Analysis and forecasting of depreciation, amortization, and tax expense Assistance with cash flow analysis and forecasting Assist with annual budget process. Support the finance teams (Finance Manager and Finance Business Partner) with ad hoc tasks. Experience and Qualifications: Finance Degree CPA/CA (or working towards) Some experience in a finance related role Some experience in a similar role with exposure to statistical analysis and financial forecasting.
