About the role Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance team, reporting to the CFO. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end billing and collections process, ensuring accurate reconciliations, and maintaining strong customer relationships to support healthy cash flow. Location: ACS HQ, Thomson St, South Melbourne Working arrangements: Onsite role, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, with flexibility available What you'll be doing Prepare and issue accurate invoices, including recurring and ad hoc billings Monitor outstanding accounts and manage collections in line with company policies Reconcile customer accounts and perform daily/monthly bank reconciliations Accurately allocate incoming receipts and resolve discrepancies Manage billing and payment disputes in collaboration with internal teams Prepare ageing and collections reports while ensuring compliance with accounting standards What you'll bring At least two years' experience, ideally in a client facing AR or broader finance role A proactive, ownership mindset — you take responsibility and see tasks through Initiative to identify issues early and implement practical solutions Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and follow-through Confidence communicating with customers and internal teams Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and consistently deliver outcomes What's in it for you?
