About This Role Your new role: As a Principal House Officer in Gastroenterology, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centred medical care while further developing your clinical expertise within a supportive specialist environment. Provide comprehensive clinical care to gastroenterology patients under consultant supervision, including history taking, diagnosis, treatment planning and emergency care. Develop advanced skills in General Gastroenterology, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Hepatology and/or Endoscopy. Collaborate within interprofessional teams to ensure coordinated, safe and effective patient management, including clinical handover and discharge planning. About You We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused medical practitioner who is committed to excellence in clinical care and professional growth. Registered or eligible for registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia, with demonstrated clinical competence and sound medical knowledge. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, carers and multidisciplinary team members. Highly organised with excellent time management, sound clinical judgement and the ability to perform effectively in high-pressure environments.
