About This Role Your new role: As our Nurse Practitioner in Haematology & Cellular Therapies, you will deliver advanced, autonomous clinical care across stable, unpredictable, and highly complex patient presentations. Working within an approved scope of practice, you will integrate specialist expertise, evidence-based standards, and data-driven decision-making to ensure safe, high-quality, and cost-effective care. You will play a key leadership role within the Stem Cell Transplant and CAR-T service — shaping best practice, mentoring teams, and driving service improvements that enhance both patient and organisational outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients within Haematology & Cellular Therapies. Deliver care within an expanded scope of practice aligned with contemporary evidence-based standards. Manage complex and unpredictable clinical scenarios with autonomy and accountability. Develop and implement comprehensive, documented management plans. Evaluate service performance and implement change management strategies where required. About You You are a highly experienced and confident advanced practice clinician with deep expertise in Haematology & Cellular Therapies, including Stem Cell Transplant and CAR-T therapy. You combine clinical excellence with strategic thinking, leadership capability, and a strong commitment to patient-centred care. Skills & Experience Endorsed Nurse Practitioner with approved scope of practice. Demonstrated expertise in Stem Cell Transplant and CAR-T clinical environments. Advanced health assessment and complex clinical decision-making capability. Proven ability to manage care autonomously within a nursing model framework. About Us The Division of Cancer Services (DoCS) at the Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is a highly developed multidisciplinary cancer service in one of Australia's largest teaching hospitals. The hospital provides comprehensive adult cancer services encompassing haematological, surgical, medical and radiation oncology specialties, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, cell therapy, cancer vaccines and stem cell transplantation. DoCS is the state referral centre for some rare malignancies and provides highly specialised care for many medical oncology and haematology cancers, which is supported by a Stem cell Program.
