This is a Organisational Development Consultant role with Grampians Health based in Ballarat, VIC, AU Grampians Health Role Seniority - mid level More about the Organisational Development Consultant role at Grampians Health Permanent part time or full time (30.4 hours - 38 hours per week) HS5 About The Role This role provides specialist organisational development (OD) consultancy to leaders and managers across Grampians Health. You will diagnose organisational issues, design fit‑for‑purpose interventions, and influence decision‑making to strengthen organisational effectiveness. Working both independently and collaboratively, you will apply evidence‑based OD methodologies to support cultural transformation, learning strategy, organisational alignment and system‑wide improvement. You’ll work within a highly skilled OD team, exercising professional judgement, prioritising work based on organisational need, and escalating matters of significant risk or sensitivity when required. What You’ll Do Diagnose organisational issues and deliver evidence‑based recommendations Provide authoritative advice on organisational design, change readiness and capability risks Lead the design, implementation and evaluation of OD interventions Coach and influence leaders on people, culture and change matters Contribute to organisational alignment, leadership development and learning strategy Identify OD needs with leaders and collaborate on sustainable workforce solutions Key Responsibilities Lead organisational diagnostics (culture, engagement, capability, team effectiveness) Provide expert advice on organisational design, change and workforce capability Design and deliver OD interventions aligned to organisational strategy Constructively influence leaders, including when managing resistance or competing priorities Work collaboratively across OD and broader People & Culture teams Deliver activities related to leadership, culture, learning and organisational alignment Support development activities that grow capability across the workforce Build business knowledge to coach and influence leaders effectively Promote equal employment opportunity and inclusive practices Liaise with People & Culture operations, ER, Systems and TA teams as needed Skills & Experience Degree in Business, Management, Psychology or a related field Experience providing OD consultancy/advice in a complex organisation Ability to analyse complex organisational issues and synthesise data Experience working with external vendors and stakeholders Strong OD design and facilitation capability Culture & Benefits At Grampians Health, we recognise our staff are our greatest asset.
