Description: About The Urgent Care Services Officer Role Provide high-quality admin and customer service in urgent care. Assist patients with non-life-threatening injuries or illness, support clinicians, coordinate appointments, manage records and help our clinic run smoothly in a welcoming, barrier-free environment. Location: Your Community Health | 42 Separation St, Northcote Hours: 7 days a week, 8am-10pm | AM & PM shifts available Employment Type: Casual contracts available Base Rate: $42.07/hr (including casual loading) plus penalties for after hours, weekends and public holiday shifts. Your Passion and Commitment will see you: Ensure smooth, efficient patient intake and registration Provide admin support and maintain strict confidentiality Arrange and coordinate interpreting and translating services Assist customers to access services or refer to the right team Collect and process payments and claims for services To succeed in this role you will have: Required: Current or recent experience working within a general practice, primary care and/or urgent care setting Experience using Microsoft Office Suite Engaging and warm personality with the ability to quickly build rapport Strong problem solving and negotiation skills Desired: Current Victorian Drivers Licence Experience using relevant software applications i.e. Best Practice and/or Medical Director Experience engaging with people from diverse backgrounds.
