THE ROLE Disability Homes Victoria (DHV) is the branch of Homes Victoria that manages the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH)'s Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) homes and other assets, including over 900 properties valued at around $1B. The SDA portfolio provides valued, stable, and secure homes to around 2500 residents with significant disabilities, and workplaces for Supported Independent Living providers. This role would suit an autonomous individual who is passionate about uplifting organisational capability to deliver high quality financial services and enjoy effectively partnering with senior stakeholders and operational management. The role will be responsible for developing and delivering financial performance insights, budgeting and portfolio reporting. The role will be designing, building and testing financial models and developing recommendations to drive and support decision making. The role sits within the Policy and Projects team and manages and coordinates all internal and external financial processes and requirements, as well as leading a small team engaged in expenditure management and revenue collection and control. As part of a wider cross-functional work unit, this role will also assist in the on-going management of government-owned SDA dwellings under the NDIS framework and will be responsible for managing the design process for implementing and maintaining financial systems to monitor SDA operations.
