As a well-established small successful start-up in the renewable energy sector, our client is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to manage the company’s local subsidiary operations for ANZ and the Pacific region. The role reports through to the global CEO and would also suit an experienced regional director or general manager looking for their next step. With full P/L responsibility, the focus will be on developing business and increasing profitability for the company in the given geographic area . Having strong business acumen and experience in strategic planning, business development, team management and effective leadership, the CEO will bring strong sales strategy expertise and a proven background in sales and business development. You will have the capability to guide, support, and mentor the local sales team, without holding direct responsibility for day‑to‑day sales execution. Ensuring the company’s strategic goals and objectives are met within the region; adhering to global company policies, regulations and operating procedure; driving monthly revenue/profitability; financial reporting (month/Qtr. /Year); revenue forecasting and yearly budget P&L preparation, are key responsibilities. The role will suit a proven senior executive with familiarity with customer and market segments within the broader renewable energy industry. You will have a strong sales and marketing background, but also a high level of technical competence to help steer technical direction and, financial capability to focus on revenue, margins, profitability and cost control. You will hold a Bachelor’s or master’s degree or similar, preferably in Electrical engineering, sales, business, marketing, economics or business administration. With substantial experience in finance, analytics, sales operations, or similarly related positions, you will be a data driven and independent thinker with a strong cross functional collaboration skillset.
