This recruitment process may be used to fill casual and temporary part-time opportunities as they arise. You’ll deliver safe, efficient and best-practice sterilisation and reprocessing of reusable medical devices, supporting perioperative services and patient safety across the hospital. About This Role Your new role: In this role, you will provide nursing care within the Central Sterilisation Department, ensuring reusable medical devices are reprocessed safely and in line with national standards. You'll work collaboratively within a specialised nursing team and may take on team leader responsibilities as required. You Will Perform reprocessing of reusable medical devices in line with AS 5369 standards Undertake decontamination, inspection, assembly, packaging and sterilF2:I2isation duties Support loan instrument coordination and workload management Participate in handover, shift planning and team leadership activities Contribute to quality, safety and continuous improvement initiatives About You You are a Registered Nurse who values precision, teamwork and patient safety, with an interest in perioperative and sterilisation services.
