This role is central to delivering a positive, student-centred library experience and supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of library services. Reporting to the Head, Library & Copyright Compliance, you will provide high-quality administrative and operational support while acting as a key point of contact for students and academic staff. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Library team. Coordinate library workflows, activities and internal communications to ensure smooth service delivery. Manage the shared library mailbox, triaging and responding to enquiries in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with academic staff and LMS teams to update and maintain subject resources and reading lists in line with library and copyright requirements. Deliver high-quality customer service to students and faculty, resolving enquiries or referring matters appropriately. Support the maintenance of accurate library records, documentation and processes. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the student library experience. Foster a positive, inclusive and student-focused team culture aligned with Kaplan’s values Requirements Demonstrated administrative experience in a busy, service-oriented environment. Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple enquiries and competing priorities effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Confidence engaging with students, academic staff and professional teams. Sound judgement and ability to escalate issues appropriately. Proficiency in email systems and standard office technologies. Experience in a library, education or student services environment (desirable but not essential).
