You will empower people with disability to live as independently and confidently as possible — building daily living skills, maintaining wellbeing, and fostering inclusion in the community. In this role, you will: Provide personal care that promotes dignity and independence (e.g. showering, toileting, continence support). Support safe manual handling and mobility using hoists and other aids. Follow individual care plans to meet health needs such as epilepsy or wound care. Prepare meals and assist with mealtimes in line with mealtime management plans. Enable customers to participate in everyday activities — from household tasks to social and community outings. Experience working in Supported Independent Living and providing personal care. Experience in managing behaviours of concern, administering medication and manual handling. The ability to stay calm, think quickly, and provide steady, confident support — even when things get challenging.
