Our client operates a family-owned business that seeks expansion and growth in the Central West region of New South Wales. They currently manage 3,650 hectares, with a cropping and livestock enterprise complementing each other. The farm's focus is on expanding a diverse range of dual-purpose grazing crops and pastures, which are key to their prime lamb finishing operation. Over the last five years, they have invested heavily in improving farm infrastructure. Planning for the future, they seek to expand their team to work alongside the next generation with individual stock and cropping focuses. Although a general Farm Hand role, working amongst the sheep and cropping elements, you would predominantly assist in the fodder and cropping programs. This would see you skilled in all aspects of the cropping cycle, including operating and maintaining machinery. Ideally, you will have experience across all aspects of the cropping cycle, or a keen willingness to learn. Mechanical and fabrication skills are also advantageous. Your communication and interpersonal skills will help you thrive in a welcoming and inclusive team environment. Additionally, the Farm Hand will assist with transporting produce on and off the farm.
