Applicants must have at least (2) years experience and relevant qualifications. Your responsibilities will include: Cooking and preparing variety of food items as per the menu and to meet special dietary requirements of customers Menu creation for normal days and special occasions by consultation with the Head Chef Purchasing of stock according to budget Maintaining labour costs Conducting and reporting weekly and monthly stock count Leading a team of junior chefs on a day to day basis and conducting necessary training Identifying areas of improvement for smoother functioning of the kitchen and implementing training Ensuring that the kitchen strictly adheres to OHS standards and health regulations Ensuring high standard in personal appearance and hygiene Implementing new procedures and policies for development and improvement of service Promoting the restaurant In return, we offer, excellent pay between $70,000 - $80,000 super.
