Institutional Equity Sales Dealer Location: Milsons Point, Sydney (on-site) Salary: Up to $180,000 Super ( 1% commission on deals / bonuses possible) Hours: Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Reporting to: CEO & Head of Corporate Finance About the Role An established boutique financial services firm is expanding its institutional platform following the launch of its Corporate Finance and ECM division. As part of this growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Institutional Equity Sales Dealer to play a key role in building institutional coverage, driving secondary market flow, and distributing ECM transactions. This is a highly autonomous role, ideal for someone who enjoys operating in a lean, entrepreneurial environment with direct access to decision-makers. Key Responsibilities Build and manage strong relationships with institutional fund managers, traders, and analysts Act as the primary point of contact for institutional clients Generate consistent secondary market flow through proactive coverage and idea generation Present equity ideas, block trades, and liquidity opportunities to institutional investors Distribute placements, sell-downs, and ECM-led transactions, including pre-sounding demand and supporting bookbuilds and allocations Execute institutional equity trades, including large and block orders, with a focus on discretion and best execution Provide market intelligence, investor feedback, and flow insights to ECM, Corporate Finance, and Research teams Operate in full compliance as an Authorised Representative, adhering to ASIC Market Integrity Rules and internal governance About You Minimum 6 years' experience in institutional equity sales or closely related areas (e.g. private wealth, corporate finance) Well-established institutional client network with a proven transaction track record Strong understanding of Australian equity markets and institutional trading dynamics Demonstrated experience executing block trades and managing senior institutional relationships RG146 (Securities) compliant and eligible for Authorised Representative appointment Highly self-motivated, commercially driven, and comfortable operating autonomously Thrives in a fast-paced boutique environment What's On Offer Competitive package up to $180,000 Super Deal-based commission and bonus upside High degree of autonomy with minimal bureaucracy Opportunity to originate and pitch your own ideas Active trading environment supporting consistent brokerage generation Clear pathway to a senior title such as Head of Institutional Sales or VP of Institutional Sales Office based in Milsons Point, close to public transport Reference Number: ( 06800-0013379765 ) This is an on-site position.
