We have a growing presence in cyber, space and nuclear programs. Tell me about this role: We are currently looking for a Security Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. This role will be based in Canberra and will play a critical part in supporting maritime landing craft. No two days are the same in this role which is essential to the success of the project. What will I be doing day to day? Participate in Security Working groups with an aim develop and mature the Cybersecurity artefacts. Support Design Reviews and provide cyber security related advice. Engage other support agencies such as DNE and Army-ICT to support the development of other key Cyber security documentation. Engage and work with Defence Cyber and Information Assurance Branch (DCIAB) to submit and seek approval for Approval to Operate (ATO) ‘certification’ for all platforms. Identify any technical risks and develop technical risk assessments. Participate in technical meetings as required. What sort of skills do I need? Minimum five years’ experience in an ICT Security related position in Information Security and Assurance. Experience in acquisition of major platforms or OT technologies. Knowledge of and experience in implementing Security standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST 800-82. Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or ICT related discipline Experience in Defence and/or Shipbuilding acquisition projects Knowledge of Defence Cyber Security Assessment and Authorisation Framework Hold a minimum NV1 security clearance (must be an Australian citizen) What’s in it for me?
