The role reports to the Snr Marketing Manager and will lead the strategy and execution of athlete & community marketing across Australia and New Zealand, building authentic connections and elevating the Wilson brand through impactful events, strategic athlete & community partnerships, and ambassador programs. The Role: The role develops and delivers experiences that inspire, engage, and grow our presence across Wilson with a focus on Community, Tennis 360 with and fostering relationships with upcoming and existing athletes. Day to day responsibilities include; Develop and execute a comprehensive community marketing strategy that aligns with Wilson’s retail expansion and business growth objectives Deliver high-impact campaigns that drives customer acquisition, retention, and brand loyalty. Own community marketing initiatives, ensuring seamless integration between brand storytelling and brand store experiences Drive innovation in omnichannel marketing strategies, leveraging data-driven insights to enhance customer engagement. Support the wholesale business through community marketing programs and partner collaborations to strengthen brand presence in key accounts Scout and manage locally sponsored Wilson Athletes including end to end sponsorship ownership Supply, service, and support the needs of the Athlete by managing assigned budget Elevate Athlete’s where applicable into community marketing initiatives, through Retail activations, social media/ CRM Collaborate with National Tennis Academy coaches to develop pipeline of future talent and attend major tournaments where appropriate Skills and Experience: A range of skills are necessary including: You must have experience in the tennis industry either through coaching or playing Demonstrated experience in marketing, events, partnerships, or sports marketing Strong capability in planning, managing, and evaluating marketing and community programs Skilled in cross-functional collaboration with internal teams such as Brand, Sports Marketing, Retail, and Digital in multicultural environments Experienced in managing external vendors, agencies, and brand ambassadors Knowledgeable in digital, social, and retail marketing tools to drive engagement, awareness, and sales Strong relationship-building skills with partners, athletes, and community partners.
