An exciting opportunity is now open for a motivated and enthusiastic Sports Supervisor to join the vibrant team at the City of Kwinana’s recreation centre (the Recquatic). You will work closely with the Sports and Programs Team Leader – Dry Programs to successfully deliver all team sport competitions in a safe and timely manner. Key duties include responding to customer complaints, completing safety audits on playing surfaces, rostering of umpires, updating of fixtures and ladders, assisting with umpiring and liaising with umpires, team and players to resolve issues in a professional manner. Planned future growth of the team sports programs will allow for additional hours to this position (up to 50 hours per fortnight). Knowledge of rules of netball and futsal and ability to interpret rules Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills especially conflict resolution/negotiation skills. Demonstrated knowledge of participant engagement and customer service strategies. Highly effective time management and organisational skills Ability to work in a team environment. Certification in umpiring/refereeing. Provide First Aid, Police Clearance and Working with Children Check. Why Join Us?
