Join our dynamic team at epay as a Credit Controller with Accounting Support, where you will play a vital role in managing our credit processes while providing essential accounting support. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with our commerce and finance teams to ensure our financial health while nurturing robust relationships with our clients. Responsibilities: Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from clients. Perform credit checks on new and existing clients and establish appropriate credit limits. Create and maintain accurate aged debtor reports for analysis. Engage proactively with clients to resolve payment disputes and negotiate payment plans when necessary. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and monthly reports for the management team. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accuracy in general ledger entries and reconciliations. Support the processing of refunds and write-offs with comprehensive backup documentation. Provide valuable insights on credit risk and contribute to ongoing risk management strategies. Support ad-hoc projects and administrative tasks as required by the finance department. Requirements Qualifications: Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar accounting role, ideally with at least 3 years in the industry. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations. Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments. Self-motivated and results-driven individual with a keen eye for detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in English is required; additional language skills would be advantageous.
