Job Description This role will be based in Sydney, Australia. We are seeking someone with a consulting, investment banking, or similar background to be a Strategic Finance business partner to the ANZ GM and the leadership team. This is a hybrid strategy and finance role in which you will work on ad hoc strategic projects for ANZ leadership and manage the ANZ GTM budget. What you get to do in this role: Be a key business partner to the ANZ GM and the broader leadership team in ANZ Create analysis and presentations for strategic initiatives across the organization including business cases for additional investments and annual & long-range strategic planning Be the primary Finance business partner for ANZ liaising with leadership in not just ANZ but across APAC Roll-up your sleeves on some data crunching activities, cross-functional initiatives and assist in other ad-hoc analysis and presentation requests Leverage AI to improve productivity and create time for strategic/value-creating initiatives Analyze financial and sales operational data and metrics to make strategic recommendations to help the business in ANZ grow and be successful Be the financial and thought partner to ANZ in helping manage their overall budgeting and planning, breaking down financial results into meaningful insights. Advise senior leadership on overall capital allocation within ANZ GTM Support APAC-wide Finance projects, and help enhance the foundations of GTM Finance in APAC and globally, in partnership with the rest of the Finance teams
