Purpose Provide leadership and subject matter expertise to ensure Rest’s financial accounting team delivers accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting for Rest’s trustee and investment entities. The role ensures strong financial controls, high‑quality insights and continuous improvement in alignment with Rest’s strategy and member‑first mission. Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities Lead the delivery of accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting for all Rest Group entities, ensuring alignment with statutory, taxation and regulatory obligations Provide high‑quality financial insights and analysis to the GM, Financial and Regulatory Reporting to support Board, AFC and ELT reporting and strategic decision‑making. Strengthen Rest’s financial control environment by maintaining and improving finance policies, risk management practices and end‑to‑end reporting processes. Drive cross‑functional initiatives that uplift financial systems, processes and operational efficiency, ensuring continuous improvement and cost‑effective outcomes. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners (administrator, custodian, auditors, tax advisers and regulators) to ensure high‑quality reporting outcomes and smooth operational delivery.
