The Company A well established Australian organisation operating in a highly regulated environment, currently investing in a number of strategic risk and compliance initiatives. With a strong focus on governance, regulatory uplift, and customer integrity, they are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support a major AML transformation program. The Role This Senior Business Analyst role sits within a broader regulatory and compliance portfolio, with a core focus on Anti Money Laundering initiatives. You will work across business, risk, compliance, and technology teams to deliver key AML enhancements, uplift controls, and ensure alignment to regulatory obligations. This is a hands on role requiring deep AML domain expertise, strong stakeholder engagement capability, and experience working on complex regulatory change programs. Responsibilities Lead business analysis activities across end to end AML initiatives Gather, document, and validate AML requirements including transaction monitoring, KYC, CDD and reporting obligations Work closely with Risk and Compliance teams to interpret AML regulatory requirements Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions across operations, technology, and compliance Produce high quality business requirements, process maps, and functional specifications aligned to AML controls Support testing phases to ensure AML solutions meet regulatory and business expectations Drive traceability from AML regulatory obligations through to implemented solutions Candidate Experience Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst delivering complex AML programs within regulated financial services environments Strong working knowledge of AUSTRAC obligations, AML regulatory frameworks, and reporting requirements Demonstrated experience leading regulatory change initiatives with direct exposure to AML compliance and uplift programs Please note, we can only contact successfully shortlisted candidates.
