About the role We’re looking for a Senior Developer to help lead and drive the development of MYOB’s Mobile Apps and their integration with our SaaS platform. In this role, other technologists will look to you for your experience, mentoring, and guidance. You’ll coach the team in technical, analytical, and collaborative skills, champion solid engineering practices, and advocate for developer experience - improving build tooling, project configuration, testing approaches, and shared libraries. You’ll collaborate to solve ambiguous problems, contribute to planning and estimation, and be hands‑on in an Agile environment. A strong commitment to testing, CI/CD best practices, and automated quality at every layer will help you drive continuous improvement. What skills you need - Proficient in React Native framework including best practices and tools - Native development (Swift for iOS or Kotlin/java for Android) highly regarded - Full‑stack development experience across multiple programming languages and familiarity with integrating mobile apps with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs. - Experience and familiarity with automated testing across multiple layers (unit, integration, and UI) using tools such as Jest, React Native Testing Library, Mock Service Worker, and end-to-end testing frameworks. - Experience working with modern CI/CD tooling and best practices in delivering high-quality mobile software.
