We're seeking a dependable Grounds & Maintenance Labourer to support water production, treatment and distribution facilities at Mt Kynoch. This is a casual contract role with potential to move to full-time for the right person. If you hold an ACDC (Chemical Spraying) Licence and take pride in maintaining safe, clean and well-presented sites - we'd love to hear from you. About the Role You'll carry out housekeeping and grounds maintenance duties across essential water facilities, while assisting water supply staff as needed. It's a varied, practical role ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and contributing to vital community infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Operating and maintaining small plant and equipment (brush cutters, edgers, commercial ride-on mowers) in line with Council procedures Performing general labouring duties Completing basic administration tasks (timesheets, plant hire records, stores documentation) Maintaining a safe work environment in accordance with WHS guidelines Responding to public enquiries in a courteous and professional manner Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors Contributing to continuous improvement and positive team outcomes ✅ What You'll Need Current ACDC (Chemical Spraying) Licence - essential Current C Class Driver's Licence - essential MR Licence and Construction White Card (30215QLD or CPCCOHS1001A) - desirable Relevant experience or training suited to the role Basic numeracy and communication skills Strong commitment to safety and teamwork What's On Offer $35.62 per hour Super Monday to Friday - weekends free 6:30am to 3:00pm daily Mt Kynoch location Opportunity to support essential water infrastructure services Required PPE Applicants must provide and wear: Safety boots Long sleeve shirt Navy trousers Wide brim hat Drink bottle All PPE must comply with workplace safety standards and be suitable for outdoor conditions.
