Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will take ownership of the end-to-end tender process, driving accurate, commercially sound pricing strategies that strengthen project outcomes and position the business for sustainable growth. More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to: Leading the preparation of accurate tenders, quotes, and variations across government and commercial projects Reviewing plans and specifications to identify scope opportunities, clarify exclusions, and strengthen overall project coverage Collaborating closely with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive, well-defined pricing Conducting site visits and developing detailed scopes of work that set projects up for success Contributing to pricing strategy and margin positioning alongside senior leadership Enhancing internal estimating systems and developing historical cost data to support smarter project forecasting and budgeting Who We're Looking For To qualify, you will need proven experience in estimating, quoting, and preferably tender writing , as well as the ability to read and interpret plans. Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued (preferred but not essential): Experience with tools such as Buildsoft Cubit, Wunderbuild, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace, or similar software Experience within commercial and/or government construction projects A valid Driver's Licence and Construction White Card Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Estimating) or a Certificate III in Carpentry Background in design and/or contracts administration As our ideal candidate, you are commercially aware, detail-oriented, and confident engaging with subcontractors and leadership alike.
